About life
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For the past 4 years, my wife and I have experienced the loss of our parents and also two of our dogs who were part of our lives and were in our marriage for 15 years.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Losing someone or a pet that is considered a family member is one of the hardest experiences we have ever had. In our culture, we are not taught how to deal with it and that is why I always stress to my brides and grooms the importance of celebrating life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Beyond the details, beyond who makes the decisions during the wedding process. It is a moment of celebration. It's a time to embrace and tell each other how much you love each other.... This from someone who lost her great dog yesterday. A fantastic dog that gave us infinite love and that we will not be able to hug anymore but we will always have thousands of memories photographed with her, even up to the last moment when we said goodbye.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We don't have to wait long, we don't have to wait for absences to tell us how much we love each other. It is here and now when we have the opportunity to embrace each other.
