I feel that lately the world has forgotten about compassion and no longer seek to try to understand one another or put each other in others shoes. We go straight to negativity and judgement based on what we see. Not willing to listen. Leaving many in the painful shadows of being misunderstood.

It is sometimes said that our increasingly digital lives disconnect us from being physically present in our bodies. But this is only true if we allow ourselves to disconnect.

From my own experience of sometimes sitting for countless hours scrolling endlessly on my phone, I tend to forget where I am and sort of lose sense of time 😅 I’m sure we’ve all been there at least once possibly.

I have used social media a lot less than I used to since taking my break from it. I have met amazing people online, connected with so much inspiring art and artists, learned so much, even some confidence in putting myself out there and get to share my work❤️
I have also experienced the negative side of social media and it really took a toll on me mentally.

Personally, I enjoy being offline a lot more than being online 😊 It’s refreshing and I think breaks are very important to help connect you back to yourself💕

☀️A little tip: a simple way to stay connected while you’re online is to bring your attention to how your fingers engage with tour device. In doing this, you can become more aware and physically present :)
