Mount Qingcheng – less than two hours from Chengdu, but it feels like another world 🌿
Green everywhere, so quiet you only hear the wind through the bamboo 🍃
Taoist temples tucked in the woods, moss on the stone steps.
Sit for a while and time seems to slow down – slow enough to hear your own breath.
The mountain air is cool, carrying the scent of earth and leaves.

I walked into a real-life Ghibli movie today – no animation required.
Welcome to Chengdu’s Pixel Box – a cluster of buildings that look like they’ve breathed themselves into existence. Vivid blocks of coral, mint, lemon, and lavender stacked like playful cubes, as if a giant child arranged them just for fun.
They call it the "dopamine cube" – and honestly, the name fits. Every angle feels whimsical, slightly surreal, and impossibly cheerful. The balconies jut out like tiny magical balconies that might house a soot sprite or two.
If Miyazaki designed a city block, this would be it. 🏗️🌈

You don't have to go all the way to Nara to hang out with deer 🦌
There's a small farm on Luxe Island in Chengdu's Luhu Park – the sika deer there are super gentle and friendly. Big round eyes, they'll come right up to you if you buy a 10-yuan bag of carrots. Pet their soft fur – it's honestly heart-melting. There are also alpacas, sheep, and little ducks – all adorable.
Best time to go is around 4pm – the light is soft, shadows flicker through the trees, and it's great for photos. Entry is only 30 yuan, and you can spend the whole day there – super healing 💚

Just visited the "Future Realm" exhibition at Chengdu Art Museum – tech + art = mind blown! 🚀
So many interactive installations – wave your hand and the visuals change right in front of you. Felt like I was part of the art. And it's super photogenic too – every corner gives that futuristic vibe.
If you're in Chengdu, definitely worth half a day. Have you ever been to an interactive art exhibition like this? 😄
