My mum couldn’t believe her iPhone 17 Pro can shoot this... 🤯 All clips were shot in Apple Log and colour graded with my iPhone Apple Log LUT (no.02 LUT) one click, no further grading (let me know if you wanna see it in action/proof)

The truth is, if you have an iPhone 15 Pro or newer Pro model, your phone is hiding a literal cinema camera feature 🤫

What is Apple Log?
When you shoot normal video, your iPhone bakes in the colors, contrast, and sharpness automatically. But when you turn on Apple Log, it saves a completely flat, desaturated video profile. It looks gray and washed out at first, but it preserves all the extra details in the highlights and shadows. This gives you total creative control to colour grade it later.

How to get the cinematic look instantly:

1️⃣ Download the free Blackmagic Cam app from the App Store.
2️⃣ Go to settings and choose Codec - H.265 (save storage space) then in colour space choose Apple Log.
3️⃣ Import a custom LUT (i have one linked in my bio if you’re interested) right into the app.

You can preview the final, graded cinematic look on your screen while you’re recording, or bake in the LUT, completely skipping the heavy editing process later.

POV: you want FPV shots but you’re too scared to fly actual FPV 😅

That’s why the DJI Avata 360 makes so much sense to me. I was literally just flying it normally like a regular drone, then using the 8K HDR 360° footage from the dual 1-inch sensors to completely change the perspective afterwards in the edit.

The obstacle sensing and built-in propeller guards also made flying close to objects feel way less intimidating. You can focus on flying safely first, then create the FPV look later in post.
Honestly feels like a perfect drone for people who never thought they could fly FPV.

I flew all the way to China for a moment like this.
On the Yulong River in Yangshuo, a golden dragon takes shape, formed by rows of bamboo rafts, illuminated against the night, moving gently through the still water. Surrounded by mountains and fireworks, it’s one of those moments that doesn’t quite feel real until you’re standing there watching it.
