Not every office is designed to feel like a place you’ll actually want to stay after work.
The new headquarters for Takami Restaurant Group transform a beautifully restored 1950s building in El Nogal into a workspace that feels more like a members’ club than a traditional office. A social area with a DJ booth and bar, carefully curated wine displays, and warm, timeless materials create an atmosphere that reflects the hospitality culture behind the brand.

Throwback Thursday.
Just months before we got married in Colombia, my husband introduced me to one of Colombia’s architectural icons: the Virgilio Barco Library, designed by Rogelio Salmona.

Years later, these photographs remain more than an architectural record. They are a reminder of a place, a moment, and the beginning of a new chapter in our lives.

A few weeks ago, Entre Estilos included me in their list of Colombia’s leading architectural photographers and invited me to look back through five images. Almost two decades of work — each one holds a special place for a different reason.
01 — Lucas and his dog in front of a caretaker’s house by Oberlaender Arquitectos. Nothing was planned. The moment just happened. Photography is part skill, part luck — the most genuine moments arrive on their own.
02 — A project by Bermúdez Arquitectos in Villavicencio that my partner and I visited with Diego Bermúdez — with no intention of shooting. We ended up with an entire series. I fell in love with the geometry, the textures, and the way the sky completed the scene.
03 — Part of my 2008 graduation project. Photographed in the home of artist Gisèle d’Ailly-van Waterschoot van der Gracht in Amsterdam. It feels as though someone has just stepped out of bed and might return at any moment. That quiet intimacy still reminds me why I love photographing spaces.
04 — A residential project in Nilo by Monastral and Duque Arquitectura. One of my favorite parts of the job: waking before sunrise and watching the first light transform a space. In those moments I feel the architecture exactly as it was intended.
05 — From a personal series on reflections in windows around the world. Taken in Amsterdam — my attempt to capture the energy of an entire street in a single frame.
Thank you to the architects, designers, artists, friends, and family who’ve been part of this journey — and especially to my clients for your trust and for giving me the opportunity to photograph so many extraordinary spaces.

En el afán mediático de la actualidad, a la imagen se le termina atribuyendo una fugacidad que no corresponde al esfuerzo real que hay detrás de ella.

Esta es una invitación, con mucho respeto y cariño, a visibilizar el trabajo de los fotógrafos y realizadores audiovisuales.

Detrás del esfuerzo enorme que habita en los procesos de diseño y construcción, existe la labor de personas que buscan, con entrega, respeto y pasión, la mejor manera de transmitir la esencia de los proyectos arquitectónicos. Es un trabajo que, más que en el silencio, se construye en la contemplación y cuyo producto cobra aún más importancia en un ecosistema humano que se comunica visualmente al alcance de la mano.

Un lugar pensado para que todo pase: trabajar, compartir, desconectarse 🌿

Una atmósfera más industrial, pero cálida, donde la familia puede apropiarse del espacio a su manera.

El Apto Parque 94 es un apartamento tríplex en el Chicó, Bogotá, que transforma una condición fragmentada en un hábitat continuo 🔄
En su nivel de acceso, la zona social se despliega en profundidad: sala, comedor y terraza conectados por la luz lateral y la doble altura 🌿
En colaboración con Hs2E, la fotografía busca hacer legible esta continuidad, donde la luz y la materialidad definen la atmósfera.
