I have been questioned about the clarity and quality of the images I sometimes post. Yes, I post lower quality and lower resolution images than I obtain. In fact, they are less than half of the true quality and resolution once I render them for the web.

The function of this is to prevent theft and illegal reproduction.

Those who invest in my work receive ONLY the highest quality produced upon return. Those who are interested in PAYING for those images will receive only high resolution copies.

However, the internet is known for thieving work without credit or compensation and I have invested decades in my skill along with tens of thousands in equipment. And, there is still a long list of time, financial and personal investments and sacrifices made to continue my craft not considered and cannot be calculated in those numbers.

I absolutely adore my work and I adore those that I work with. I would do it for free if feeding and housing myself weren't a top priority. Unfortunately, I have not been blessed with a free life, housing or food. Until then, I'll have to charge for my work and the investments I make into others ideas, dreams, hopes, homes and companies. But it is one that I truly do with pride and joy when working together.

I hope this explanation clears up any misunderstandings.

Because everyone enjoys outtakes and watching others narrowly avoid disaster...

I do not usually shoot in sport mode. Keeping the frame rate high with a slow speed of flight to keep the footage clean. But, the battery was dying, winds were high, and she was a good distance away. So, I kicked her into high gear and brought her back in.

Once she got below the tree line and out of the wind... she was RIGHT THERE!
