Red-legged-Honeycreeper.

Small, warbler-like tanager of tropical lowlands. Favors forest edge, woodland, and semi-open areas with taller trees. Often occurs in small groups, sometimes larger flocks, usually in the canopy of flowering trees, where it probes for nectar with its long bill. Red legs are bright on male, dullest on young birds. Male is blue in breeding plumage, with a turquoise cap; female and non-breeding male are greenish overall with faint streaking on the chest. In flight, the underside of the wings flash bright sulphur-yellow.

Black-cheeked Woodpecker

Medium-sized woodpecker of humid evergreen forest and edge in tropical lowlands. Less numerous than larger and more conspicuous Golden-fronted Woodpecker, which often occurs in the same areas. Distinctive, with big black mask, white patch behind eye, black upperparts with narrow white bars, and big white rump patch. Male has full red crown. Female has grayish forecrown and red hindcrown.

The Golden hooded Tanager is an attractive, small tanager from humid tropical lowlands, known for its black and blue plumage, often with a golden cap. It is found in forest edges, plantations and gardens, where it lives in pairs and feeds on berries and insects, often with other small birds such as honeyeaters.

Strong- billed Woodcreeper.

The Strong-billed Woodcreeper is one of the largest and heaviest woodland climbing birds. Its upperparts are mostly brown with rufous wings and tail; its underparts are tawny; and its head, throat, and belly are streaked with tawny. Like other speciesde XiphocolaptesIt has a large, robust, and gently curved bill. The Strong-billed Woodcreeper is by far the most geographically widespread of the four species ofXiphocolaptesIt is distributed from southwestern Mexico through much of Central America to southern Panama, from there along the tropical Andes and related mountain ranges, from northern Venezuela to central Bolivia, as well as throughout much of the Amazon, especially south of the Amazon River itself. No fewer than 25 subspecies have been described across this enormous range (one of the most extensive of all dendrocolaptids), some of which may well merit separate species status; generally, three subspecies groups are recognized: in Central America, western and northern South America, and the Amazonian lowlands.

Hooded mountain Tanager.

Bjergtangarer (Mountain Tanagers) er en gruppe af farverige spurvefugle, der primært lever i Andesbjergene i Sydamerika, kendt for deres store størrelse og livlige fjerdragt, som ofte inkluderer gult, blåt og sort. De er tilpasset livet i tågeskove og højtliggende områder, hvor de spiser bær, insekter og nektar, og de er kendetegnet ved deres kraftige næb og ofte høje, skingre kald.

Fawn-breasted Brilliant.
Er en kolibriart fra Andesbjergene, kendetegnet ved sin grønne overside, buff-farvede underside og en lyserød plet på struben hos hannen, som hunnen har mindre af. Den lever i tågeskove i højder mellem 1000-2200 meter, har et langt, let nedadbøjet næb og er en mellemstor kolibri.

Blue - Capped Tanager.

Blåhættet Tangar er en type tangar, en familie af små, ofte farverige fugle, der lever i skove og æder bær og insekter. De er typisk 10-28 cm lange, har ofte kegleformede næb og ses ofte i blandede flokke, men yngler parvis. Hunner og unger er ofte mere afdæmpet farvede end hannerne, og de bygger åbne skålformede reder i træer eller buske.

Golden - breasted puffleg.
My hummingbird lifer number 75 out of the 167 hummingbirds there are in Colombia. Still lot of trips in the future.

Grass - green Tanager.

Large, bulky tanager found in the upper subtropical and temperate zones of the Andes from Colombia to Bolivia. Striking and not likely to be mistaken: entirely bright green with red bill and legs and rufous face and undertail coverts. Fairly common in montane forests and edges, where singles or pairs often move slowly with mixed-species flocks. Forages at all levels. Listen for its distinctive nasal call notes.
