(English below) Hace unos días se realizó el segundo conteo de Anfibios y Reptiles en Costa Rica. Más de 30 rutas en diferentes partes del país cubriendo muchos de los ecosistemas que habitan estas increíbles especies. En los Cerros de Escazu estuvimos presentes en compañía de instituciones y muchas personas de las comunidades cercanas. Lari disfrutó de su primer conteo biológico y aunque hubiese querido hacer más fotos fue una noche pasada por agua pero también muchas ranas.
Mucho que agradecer a las personas que durante tantos días hicieron esfuerzos para organizar esta actividad de ciencia ciudadana en busca de acciones y un mejor futuro para estas especies.
A few days ago, the second Amphibian and Reptile count took place in Costa Rica. More than 30 routes across different parts of the country covered many of the ecosystems inhabited by these incredible species. In the Escazú Hills, we participated alongside institutions and many people from nearby communities. Lari enjoyed her first biological count, and although I would have loved to take more photos, it was a rainy night—filled with both water and plenty of frogs.
There is much to be grateful for, especially to the people who dedicated so many days of effort to organizing this citizen science initiative in pursuit of action and a better future for these species
