Esta sp se caracteriza por tener un pico largo y curvado; le gustan las tierras bajas y húmedas; le gustan además los jardines de heliconias.

Ermitaño bronceado se suele ver en nuestras caminatas y tours fotográficos.

This species is characterized by its long, curved beak; it prefers low-lying, damp areas; and it also enjoys heliconia gardens.

The Bronzy Hermit is often seen on our hikes and photography tours.

Las guatusas son excelentes jardineras; su dieta se basa en frutas, semillas y raíces. Tiene la costumbre de enterrar semillas para luego comérselas; a menudo olvida su ubicación, siendo esto vital para la regeneración del bosque: germinarán y así nacerán nuevos árboles que darán más alimento en el futuro.

Pueden ser solitarias, terrestres y diurnas; en ocasiones pueden andar en parejas y se cree que son de por vida.

En mi jardín las suelo ver en parejas y en ocasiones con las crías. Qué maravillosa es la naturaleza.

Agoutis are excellent gardeners; their diet consists of fruits, seeds, and roots. They have the habit of burying seeds to eat later; they often forget their location, which is vital for forest regeneration: the seeds will germinate and new trees will grow, providing more food in the future.

They can be solitary, terrestrial, and diurnal; sometimes they are found in pairs, and it is believed that these pairs are for life. In my garden, I often see them in pairs and sometimes with their young.

Hace un tiempo descubrí el mundo de la fotografía en la naturaleza; ese día me encontré con el legado de mi abuelo LJ Madden (gran fotógrafo).

Siempre he dicho y con mucho orgullo que la naturaleza me cambió la vida y soy quien soy gracias a ella; si aparte puedo trabajar en esto, ¿¿qué más puedo pedir??

Mi deber y obligación es siempre cuidarla y respetarla. Qué bonito es poder apreciarla a través de un lente, el sonido de un click y enseñarla a todos ustedes.

Some time ago I discovered the world of nature photography; that day I encountered the legacy of my grandfather, LJ Madden (a great photographer).

I have always said, with great pride, that nature changed my life and I am who I am thanks to it; if I can also work in this field, what more could I ask for?

My duty and obligation is always to care for and respect it. How wonderful it is to be able to appreciate it through a lens, the sound of a click, and to share it with all of you.

Este martin pescador verde es una de las aves más representativas de los humedales, le gustan los arroyos, o ríos de corriente lenta.

Se alimentan principalmente de peces pequeños, insectos acuáticos y crustáceos.

Hacen los nidos en paredes donde hacen un agujero de bastante profundidad para proteger los huevos y pichones.

This green kingfisher is one of the most representative birds of wetlands, preferring streams and slow-moving rivers.

They feed mainly on small fish, aquatic insects, and crustaceans.

They nest in walls, digging a fairly deep hole to protect their eggs and chicks.

Este día fue muy interesante, navegar por Los canales del parque con amigos es increíble, además de excelentes en sus áreas es un excelente fotógrafo del cual siempre aprendo y buenísimo pajareando, gracias a él vimos esta hermosa ave y muchas otras.

Dicen que vale más tener amigos que dinero, sin duda es muy cierto.

Tortuguero siempre verde y lleno de magia.

This day was so interesting! Navigating the park's canals with friends is incredible. Besides being excellent in their respective areas, is a fantastic photographer from whom I always learn, and is amazing at birdwatching. Thanks to him, we saw this beautiful bird and many others.

People say friends are worth more than money, and that's certainly true.

Tortuguero is always green and full of magic.

En un día tomando fotografías por Tortuguero se pueden encontrar fácilmente una gran variedad de especies, tenee paciencia y estar siempre pendientes es muy importante, sin duda este paraíso est lleno de vida.

Nuestros cielos se adornan con verdes colores, en Tortuguero es muy común verlas comiendo en los árboles de Almendro de playa.

Esta ave está dentro del mismo top 5, si quieres conocerla simplemente es venir a Tortuguero y caminar por el pueblo.

Our skies are adorned with vibrant greens, and in Tortuguero, it's very common to see them feeding in the beach almond trees.

This bird is among the top five most beautiful; if you want to see it, simply come to Tortuguero and stroll through the town.

La prueba de que conservar vale la pena, ver bebés es el regalo más grande, significa que todo esto vale la pena, nuevas generaciones vienen creciendo y ellos serán próximamente quienes cuidarán de la naturaleza.

Los monos Carablanca o Capuchinos son muy inteligentes, son omnívoros y muy crueles.

Este día no lleve mi cámara, pero algo se pudo lograr con la cámara del teléfono, soy un hombre que soluciona.

Quieres ver esta sp y muchas más???? Tortuguero es un lugar ideal, ven y disfruta de este paraíso con nosotros.

New generations are growing up, and they will soon be the ones who take care of nature.

White-faced capuchin monkeys are very intelligent, omnivorous, and very cruel.

I didn't bring my camera that day, but I managed to get some shots with my phone's camera. I'm a resourceful person.

Las mariposas azules también conocidas como Morphos poseen un color azul muy llamativo y intenso, este brillo no proviene de pigmentos, si no de una estructura microscópica que refleja la luz.
