Samodiva (or samovila) is a woodland fairy or nymph found in South and West Slavic folklore. We found none, but the trudge through beautiful woods of Mala reka was invigorating. Though my fear of heights and lightheadedness from too much oxygen compromised the sharpness of the photos, I thought them worth sharing.
