✨ A dream come true — my very first work trip!
Thanks to farita✨ , I got this amazing opportunity in Sint Maarten: taking photos for the new website of the Governor of Sint Maarten!
Together with Brenda, I drove all around the island to capture the locations we needed. We only needed photos from the Dutch side, but Brenda was so sweet and took me to the French side as well. 🇸🇽
And of course, it wasn’t all work! In between locations, we had a lovely lunch, stopped for some cake, and even found time for a little shopping. 😄
One of the coolest parts of this assignment was getting to fly my drone in places where you normally aren’t allowed to fly. We were able to get special permission for these locations, which made it such an incredible experience! Getting those aerial shots was honestly so much fun. 🚁
All the photos had to be delivered in banner format. Sounds easy, right? Well… it’s definitely not! 😂 You have to think about the composition while shooting, knowing that only about one third of the actual photo will eventually be visible.
But we made it work — and the client was very happy with the result! ❤️
I’m so grateful for this opportunity and for getting to combine photography, travel and work like this. Definitely a work trip I’ll never forget!
