Panther at BIRTV 2026 in Beijing 🇨🇳

Our CEO Andreas Fitz recently had the opportunity to present the Panther X-Type Dolly and our Tower/Slider system to filmmakers and industry professionals at BIRTV in China.

During the live presentations, visitors were able to see the equipment in action, explore its possibilities and learn more about the engineering and experience behind Panther’s camera movement solutions.

Beyond the products themselves, BIRTV was also about personal exchange. We were delighted by the interest, the technical questions and the positive response from the Chinese film community.

Thank you to everyone who attended the presentations and visited us – and thank you to CNSC and Cinecast for their support and hospitality.

We look forward to continuing the conversations started in Beijing!

What a great few days at BIRTV 2026 in Beijing! 🇨🇳🎬

BIRTV was a fantastic opportunity to meet cinematographers, grips, industry professionals and partners from across China and beyond.

This year was especially meaningful for Panther as we officially joined the Chinese Society Of Cinematographers (CNSC) as a corporate member, strengthening our connection with the cinematography community in China.

A big thank you to everyone who visited us at the CNSC booth, joined our special presentation, shared ideas and took the time to discover what’s new at Panther.

We’re looking forward to building on these new connections and coming back to Beijing soon!

Built for repeatability. 🎥

For the "Hills – Bag Sell" production for Kilmer & Cruise, produced by , Director of Photography Stephan Hambsch, SASC had the Panther S-Type Evo in action during a full day of autocue interviews at PhotoHire Studios Cape Town.

With constant framing and height adjustments throughout the day, speed and repeatability were key. Stephan told us that the S-Type Evo made it easy to switch between setups while staying consistent. Using the Limiter feature, he could return to the exact same camera position every time, saving time and keeping the workflow smooth throughout the day.

It's great to see features designed for real production challenges making a difference on set.
