For anyone in Berlin wishing to learn a little more about making good scans, I will be running a workshop on Saturday the 18th of August at the Druckwerkstatt at Kunstquartier Bethanien in Kreuzberg. The workshop offers useful technical information that can be applied to all scanning setups, as well as some hands on time with a Hasselblad X1 pro scanner.

The workshop requires a minimum of 4 people to run, so please register before Tuesday next week if interested. Details are below.

The Perfect Scan:

This workshop aims to give film photographers the knowledge necessary to create quality scans with most modern scanning software. I have been running these workshops for several years now and have tried to include something for people of all skill and knowledge levels, so please don't be shy!

Additionally, there will be a hands-on session with the Druckwerkstatt's 2 Hasselblad X1 virtual drum scanners.

The workshop will conducted in English, with assistance in German if required. Participation is €30 and supports the BBK, a non-profit Berlin arts organisation. Registration closes this Thursday!
