It's been so long since I shot something I wanted that I almost lost interest in my craft.

The last couple of years were filled with client work and commercial projects. This was great of course, don't get me wrong. And yet with every project I felt less desire to pick up my camera. As joy turned into labor, passion faded.

This was the first shot I made of my own volition. The concept, the location, the makeup were all my ideas.

And for the first time in a very long time, I felt excited to get to editing. Usually I dreaded the hours of repetitive work spent hunched over my screen.

But this was easy, it was fun, it was EFFORTLESS.

This shot sparked something inside me I thought was lost.

And now I can sense that subtle pull, that creative draft slowly urging me to get back to my craft.

Hopefully, more edits will be coming soon from this shoot and from countless others I neglected to post in the past years.

So I guess, stay tuned? ✨

Coming back with a 💥bang💥

It's been quite a while since my art graced your feeds on this account.

Did y'all miss me?

Coz I for sure missed this! But omg editing takes just so much time 😅 * insert more excuses here *

No, but seriously though the last few months have been a ROLLERCOASTER. Yet no matter how twisted things get, the only way to go is forward.

So let's roll!

This is a first real shoot I've done with my new sony alpha with the stunning and not gonna lie I'm ✨obsessed✨

It's giving fashion, it's giving editorial, it's giving VOGUE!

Mark my word, one day I WILL get printed there! * intense manifestation *

I have quite a few other surprises coming your way (provided I make time to actually edit them 🤪)

My most ambitious project to date!

Many of you probably know that I dabble in marketing, helping creatives with various promo work. After all, even if the greatest content is uploaded in the virtual space, but no one is there to see it, does it make a difference? 😉

What most of you don't know is that since February 2021 I've been helping a transformational coach Hoda Zekavat from with stepping up her online game 💪🏻

When I started creating a marketing strategy for her coaching programs, all the paths seemed to converge at the core - her website. After all, no matter how many marketing campaigns we created, if the target website did not capture the attention of the audience, all would been for naught😔

Thus, began the holistic project of vamping up that virtual baby😁And the amount of work resulted many months of literal sweat and tears: I updated the logo, created a new color palette, took hundreds of photographs, made custom illustrations and developed a new video set design👌🏻

But most of all I REBUILT THE ENTIRE WEBSITE using WordPress and created a funnel structure landing page!😎

It was the 3rd website I've ever created and the first one using this system. It was so frustrating and challenging, at times I was thinking that I bit waay more than I can chew😅 But the results are so so worth it! 😭😍

There is also so much more work that we've done together that could not possibly fit in the single post, but let me just say it involved her coaching me on dealing with my trauma(if you also struggle with this DEFINITELY check out that website), me coaching her on marketing strategy, and an evening of sticking green wallpaper to the wall with double sided tape for her new video set design 🤣

In the end I just wanna say thank you so much, , for this opportunity and I can't wait to see where your path will take you! 😍

Hiii long time no see 😜

So as none of your probably noticed, I took a break from posting for a few of weeks...

Back in January 😅

Turned out juggling two jobs does not leave time for updating your Instagram feed haha

Why did nobody prepare me for this? Hello? Higher education? WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME HOW MUCH TIME IT TAKES TO BE A FUNCTIONAL ADULT?

My capitalist rage aside it's good to be back 😍

I've been procrastinating with this moment for so long, looking for an ideal picture to jump back into the insta groove, wanting to curate everything to be perfect, to get it just right.

And that is probably why it never happened.

Nothing is ever perfect.

Life is just life, you know?

And my life is messy, spontaneous, and also kinda weird sometimes. So I want my online presence to reflect this.

Frankly, I think perfection is really boring and incredibly restrictive. So to hell with it!

Here, for your judgment are a few pics I snapped during a picnic with a friend yesterday
(and one of me, in case you forgot what I look like😝)

Are they perfect?

F**k no!

Do I love them even though I edited them on my phone in 10 mins and did not spend 10 hours perfecting every last detail in photoshop?

Hell yeah!
