I never stopped. Since 2003, I've done mission work in Brazil, taught English in China, interned in Australia, studied abroad in Costa Rica, and backpacked across Europe and Southeast Asia. A year ago, I crumpled up my two year plan, quit my job in Shanghai and decided to follow my heart. This past year has been an experiment: what will happen if I pursue the things that bring me the most joy? And
you know what happened? I've found myself in all the right places at all the right times. Life's funny like that. I believe that travel is like meditation; one should allow the adventures and obstacles to flow freely throughout their life. And whatever you do, don't ever give up.
