Once Upon A Time
Ep1 - Analog Gravity // Behind the scenes
We shot this sci-fi scene in a place that could remind you of somewhere in the US, but it was all done in Ardèche, France ( 👋 Ardèche Tourisme). A region I keep close to my heart for its beauty and diversity of landscapes.
The gear behind it:
• Nezam Corp. URSA with a Fujinon 19-90 cine zoom
• TILTA EU Hydra rig, suction-mounted straight onto the door and the hood of my in-laws’ pickup, for all the car shots
• DJI drone for the wide shots
• 2 x Nanlite Global 600 in parabolic softboxes to imitate the light of the spaceship
• A mirror bounce and a tripod on the roof of the van, because a crane wasn’t in the budget
Everything you hear in the film was written for these images, and everything you see here was built around the music. That’s the idea behind this series.
