Golden autumn memories from Leipzig. 🍂

A collection of some of my favorite autumn moments, captured over the years when I was living there. Still one of my favorite cities to photograph during this time of year.

Werbung | Ein paar Tage entlang der Côte d’Azur, zwischen mediterranen Gassen, Palmen und einigen der schönsten Küstenorte Südfrankreichs. 🇫🇷

Von den lebhaften Straßen in Nizza ging es für uns weiter nach Èze, mit einem Abstecher in den botanischen Garten und seinem unglaublichen Blick über das Mittelmeer. Dazu kamen die Kontraste von Monaco und die bunten Häuser und Gassen von Menton – definitiv einige meiner liebsten Eindrücke von der französischen Riviera.

Mit dabei war das neue 20–60mm F2.8–4 DG | Contemporary. Besonders die 20mm haben mir hier richtig gut gefallen – perfekt für enge Altstadtgassen, Architektur und die weiten Ausblicke entlang der Küste. Und mit nur 385g bleibt das Setup angenehm leicht, wenn man den ganzen Tag zu Fuß unterwegs ist.

What I really enjoyed about this lens is the combination of an ultra-wide 20mm perspective and the flexibility to zoom all the way to 60mm. From capturing entire scenes to focusing on smaller details, it covered pretty much everything I needed while exploring the Côte d’Azur.

🍂 Poland really knows how to put on an autumn show!

Endless forests painted in shades of gold, winding mountain roads, and mist slowly drifting through the valleys. The Karkonosze Mountains look like they’ve been pulled straight out of an autumn fairytale. 🇵🇱

And the best part? You don’t have to travel far to find landscapes like these in the heart of Europe.

Zwei Tage hoch über dem Engadin, mit Bergpanorama direkt vor der Tür, Wanderungen durch die alpine Landschaft und ziemlich besonderen Sonnenuntergängen.

At 2,456 metres above sea level, Muottas Muragl feels like a little escape above the Engadin valley. From watching the light change over the mountains to hiking straight from the hotel and ending the day with dinner overlooking the valley, this place is all about slowing down and enjoying the mountains.

We spent two days exploring the surroundings of Romantik Hotel Muottas Muragl and Engadin St. Moritz Mountains, and these are some of my favourite impressions from our stay.

Definitely one of those places where the journey up is already part of the experience. ✨

Autumn in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿🍂

A journey through a country where the landscapes seem to have no end. Endless valleys, wild mountains, golden forests and roads disappearing somewhere beyond the horizon.

But what stayed with me just as much as the scenery was the incredible hospitality. No matter how remote the place, we were welcomed with warmth, generosity and the feeling of being at home, even thousands of kilometers away.

Kazakhstan is wild, vast and full of surprises and autumn might just be the most beautiful time to experience it. 🍁
