• Schloss Eutin
• Raus Cabin Heiligenhafen
• Raus Cabin Rudower See
• Lodge am See
• Lüneburg

Welches Motiv spricht euch am meisten an?

ENG 🇬🇧

If I could only take one lens on a trip, it would have to be versatile.

That’s exactly why the SIGMA America 17-40mm F1.8 DC | Art became my constant companion on this road trip through Northern Germany.

From the first coffee overlooking the fields to the last light of the day by the coast, it spent most of the journey attached to my camera. To me, that’s usually the best sign. Not the technical specifications, but simply never feeling like I was missing anything along the way.

The combination of a 17–40mm focal range, a constant F1.8 aperture and a relatively compact design makes it a really interesting travel companion for me.

📍 Places featured in this carousel:

South Tyrol is full of places that make you want to explore. But every now and then, you find one that makes you want to slow down instead.

Nestled between vineyards, mountain peaks and endless hiking trails, became the perfect base for discovering the region around Merano. Mornings with panoramic views, afternoons spent outdoors and evenings dedicated to wellness and good food.

One of those places where adventure and relaxation somehow exist in perfect balance.

Have you ever stayed somewhere that made you completely forgot about the time?

France honestly has some of the prettiest small villages I’ve ever seen. 🇫🇷

A few of my favourite villages and castles from the southwest of France:

📍 Najac
📍 Belcastel
📍 Saint-Cirq-Lapopie
📍 Albas
📍 Penne
📍 Castelnaud-la-Chapelle
📍 Château de Biron
📍 Château de Bonaguil

Medieval streets, castles on hilltops and views that look straight out of a movie.

Which one would you add to your France bucket list? 👇

Hidden high in Slovenia’s Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Bivak Pod Skuto might be one of the most unique mountain shelters in Europe.

Perched at 2,045m beneath the cliffs of Skuta, this futuristic bivouac was built to protect hikers from harsh alpine conditions while offering panoramic views across the surrounding peaks. Made from glass, larch wood and recycled materials, it blends surprisingly well into the rugged landscape.

The hike up is steep and demanding, but the final section through the alpine karst makes every step worth it.

One of those places that feels even more unreal in person. 🇸🇮

Would you spend a night up here?

The funny thing about Lake Garda is that every time you think you’ve found the perfect viewpoint, another one appears around the next corner.

Then there are places like Cape of Senses , where you don’t even have to leave your balcony to find one.

Perched high above Lake Garda, the hotel combines panoramic views, quiet luxury and easy access to adventure. One morning we explored the mountains by e-bike, a few hours later we were back by the infinity pool overlooking the lake.

Things I loved most:
• Endless views across Lake Garda
• Adults-only atmosphere
• Incredible spa & wellness area
• Easy access to hiking and cycling routes
• Sunset dinners with a view

A place that makes slowing down feel surprisingly easy.

Would you spend your day exploring the mountains or relaxing by the pool?

Most people visit Trentino for the Dolomites.

But what surprised me most were the places in between. ⛰️

📍 Cortina d’Ampezzo: one of the most beautiful mountain towns in the Alps and the perfect base for exploring the region.

📍 Passo Rolle: one of those mountain passes where you’ll want to stop every few minutes because the views keep getting better.

📍 Santner Waterfalls: a hidden gem tucked away in the forest and a great alternative to the more crowded spots.

📍 Lago di Welsperg: a peaceful lake surrounded by peaks that feels like a postcard, especially in the early morning.

📍 Castel Pergine: a medieval castle overlooking the valley and one of those places that instantly transports you back in time.

📍 Pizzo Alto: one of my favorite viewpoints of the trip, rewarding the hike with endless mountain scenery.

What I love about Trentino is that you don’t need to rush from famous spot to famous spot. Some of the best memories come from the roads in between, the quiet lakes, hidden waterfalls, and viewpoints you discover by accident.

Have you been to Trentino before, or which place would you add to this list? 👇
