Djambo again, everybody!

After introducing you to yesterday, today I want you to meet Mbanti Sayialel, the other guide joining us in our adventure. Yes, the folks at were so awesome as to provide us with two guides on the vehicle, doubling the number of expert eyes 💯❤️

Mbanti is a member of the Masai people as well, very much in tune with land and nature and a great companion during our days in the wild.

He is also an expert offroad driver, transporting us safely through the (these days sometimes muddy) Masai Mara!

DJAMBO from Kenya, everybody!! After a long and intensive year, and I finally made it back to the Masai Mara ❤️

Before I start to share some pics of our amazing wildlife encounters with you all, let me take a moment to introduce you to John Lesinko ().

John is one of the great Safari Guides at Basecamp Explorer Masai Mara, one of two camps of the Basecamp Explorer Foundation () we will visit this time around.

Together with his colleague Mbanti (whom I‘ll introduce tomorrow), John shows us more of the wonders of the Masai Mara.

John is a proud member of the Masai people, a very knowledgeable guy and genuine fun, with a big heart for animals and conservation. Like us, he is an avid birder and enjoys every minute in the wild.

He and his colleagues make our stay very special, so we wanted to show you who made the upcoming wildlife pictures possible. I am looking forward to spend another 11 days with him!!

As always, Leopards don‘t seem to care too mich about basic principles of physics, especially the concept of gravitation seems to be beyond their grasp^^
