🤍📸 A new chapter begins: We are continuing EDDYCAM - with the same passion as on day one!

When we - Sonja Allendorf and Suzana Vollmer - were given the opportunity to take over EDDYCAM a little over a year ago, we knew immediately: This is more than just a brand! It is a piece of passion, real craftsmanship, and love for photography.

With his vision, knowledge, and passion, Edlef Wienen has created something that is unique in the world: camera straps made from Scandinavian elk leather, handcrafted in Germany, sustainable, high-quality, and simply unmistakable.

Today, we are continuing this project that is close to our hearts. With great respect, joy, and conviction: 👉🏼 Quality, sustainability, and attention to detail are timeless.

The EDDYCAM camera straps are comfortable to wear even under extreme conditions of use due to their special design 🙌🏼

You decide how you prefer to carry your camera most comfortably. Basically, carrying is possible in three ways:

1. on the shoulder
2. around the neck or on the back of the neck
3. diagonally on the body („cross“)

The EDDYCAM EASY collection 📸🖤

Did you know that the EASY collection was originally developed for photo beginners whose budget was almost exhausted by the purchase of camera equipment?

That’s because the camera straps in the EASY collection are not ergonomic, as is usual with EDDYCAM, but straight-cut camera straps made from black elk leather with a printed logo.

This has a positive effect on the production costs and therefore on the sales price, but without compromising on quality, value and design 🙌🏼

EDDYCAM care instructions 🧽📷

Our EDDYCAM’s are protected by a transparent and durable wax layer, which makes them especially resistant to dirt. Normally no special care is required, but if the belt gets wet, it can be dried at normal room temperature (15-25° Celsius). When doing so, avoid heat sources such as radiators, hair dryers or similar.

To remove stains, a soft cotton cloth and light pressure is usually sufficient. For stubborn stains, a gentle brush can be helpful. If this is not enough, the belt can be carefully sprayed with cold water mist 💦and then rubbed dry with a soft cotton cloth.
