Over the last three years, chasing auroras meant countless sleepless nights, sub-zero winds, and driving across completely empty roads at midnight. Yet, standing beneath a glowing sky is something you simply never get used to.

There's only about one week left to see the puffins in Iceland.

📍 Látrabjarg | August 12, Peak at 17:44 GMT:

Right at this location, the puffins are getting the ultimate send-off: a total solar eclipse peaking at 17:44 local time, just days before they leave the cliffs.

By mid August, millions of puffins head back out to the open ocean almost overnight for the winter.
