I dedicated myself to craft visual stories that make an impact. The moment I first picked up a camera, it completely changed the way I experience the world.

I was captivated by the interplay of light, darkness, colors and contrast. The way it evokes emotions and brings out what’s within us. Through the lens, I see and understand how we dream, think and feel. With motion pictures, I take people on a journey. Visuals bring back emotions and resonate with past memories. They make you experience a feeling. Early on, I spent every free minute experimenting

with my camera. Soon, my passion turned into profession. I got commissioned by various clients to shoot commercials. In 2012, I laid my technical foundation at the Media University of Stuttgart graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering. To further deepen my knowledge, I studied cinematography at the Hamburg Media School, learning from renowned DPs such as Judith Kaufmann, Rainer Klausmann and others. During this time, I was awarded “Best Camera” at the Inn Short Film Festival. When I am not behind the camera or my desk, you can find me either playing drums or enjoying the breeze of the north while kitesurfing. Both help me to take a break and find new inspiration. As soon as I start, I am in absolute focus. I blind out my surroundings and concentrate on the immediate movements. I leave all my thoughts behind and feel the music and elements instead. To me, this sense of freedom helps me stay inspired and creative.
