Fossá Waterfall on Faroe Islands to me represents this Islands as i see and feel them. The rough but “honest” wilderness and beautiful charme of Faroer touched me. This is the world. Does that make sense?

A part of my series and project „about isolation“. A concept that interests me for a long time now. So many seemingly contradicting aspects like loneliness vs freedom, being alone vs a huge and full world, as well as the „price“ we have to pay for freedom and individuality. I try to Express possible feelings about our being thrown into this world.

Faroer Islands and it’s chapels. A passion of mine due to culture and religion. I am deeply impressed by the dignity and beauty of this places. To me this small and rural chapels convey so much of our human place in the world.
