As much as I love that he's such an active and energetic powerhouse, he keeps hurting his paws because he runs without a second thought. I can only let him run on grass. If there is any kind of gravel, even only slightly, he scrapes his paw pads, especially when running with other dogs. Might have to ask Adidas or Nike to invent shoes for him... 😄🤷

P.S. I know there are shoes for dogs, but I don't think it's advisable to let him run in shoes at his speed.
