Day 1 of NAB 2026 starts now — and this announcement comes straight from operator feedback.

We’ve been listening to touring and studio camera operators, and today FoMaSystems is introducing integration between FoMa Antares running EvolveOS and Blackcam Robotics’ Tower Lift — giving operators direct, intuitive control of the Z-axis.

For moments when camera operator to dolly operator communication isn’t practical — whether it’s smaller crews, fast-paced environments, or all-in-one operators — lift control can now live exactly where you need it:
• RCP-2EVO zoom rocker
• Broadcast Joystick twist (Z-axis)
• Secondary joystick

Using the flexibility and simplicity of FoMa’s EvolveOS, Z-axis control becomes part of your natural operating language — opening up more creative freedom in the moment.

At NAB 2026, you can try it yourself with a FoMa Antares + Blackcam Robotics B60 set up for hands-on demos.

Built for the toughest conditions 🌧️🎥
At NAB, we’re showcasing the Rainaway TV by Fookus Pookus at our booth C3633 (Central Hall) together with our FoMa Antares remote head.

Developed over four years by Estonia’s , the Rainaway TV is designed for use on spidercams, cablecams, telescopic cranes, and tracking systems. It deflects water by spinning optical glass at high speeds, enhanced by a hydrophobic coating and an integrated active ventilation system to prevent fog on both the glass and the lens.

The system runs extremely smoothly, even at high speeds, making it ideal for long zoom lenses as well as gyro-stabilized and remote heads – while aiming to be one of the quietest solutions on the market.

⚙️ We’ve already integrated Rainaway TV into our system and with the next software update, it will be directly controllable via our FoMa Remote Control Panel, enabling seamless operation on set.

Come by our FoMa booth C3633 for a live demo and see it in action yourself. Together with Siim from Fookus Pookus, Alex and Tyler are looking forward to meeting you 🤗

Big News 📢
Our FoMa Antares remote head now supports the FreeD protocol, making it fully FreeD-ready for seamless integration into advanced production workflows.

💡 The FreeD protocol is a widely adopted industry standard used to transmit real-time camera tracking data, including pan, tilt, roll, zoom, focus, and positional information to external systems such as virtual studios, augmented reality (AR), and LED wall environments.

By being FreeD-ready, our system can output this critical metadata directly, allowing it to integrate effortlessly with rendering engines, tracking systems, and broadcast graphics solutions. No additional converters or complex configurations required.

Upgrade your production capabilities with a stabilization system designed for the future. FoMa Antares

Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting two successful live demos in Japan at Grip Associate and .2020 together with .1989 , as well as being part of an Open House event at .

We would like to sincerely thank everyone for the great participation, the warm hospitality, and of course for the excellent food and shared moments throughout the events. 🤗

During the demos, we showcased our stabilized remote head FoMa Antares, demonstrated live on a crane as well as on a tower mounted on a track dolly, along with our intuitive remote control, the RCP 2 EVO. There was plenty of hands-on testing, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The enthusiasm from all participants was truly inspiring.

We are now open for orders and are also happy to arrange additional demo sessions upon request.
Feel free to reach out to us, we look forward to hearing from you!
