How many versions of you can exist in a single portrait?

A Signature Session begins with that question. Together, we build a visual concept around who you are, the chapter you are entering and the way you want to be seen.

With Henrike, it became a study of contrasts: softness and sharpness, precision and movement, direct eye contact and fragmented glimpses. Light, hands, reflections and jewellery became part of the visual language. Some frames feel cinematic, others like pages from an editorial that had never existed before.

That is what I want these sessions to hold: the recognisable alongside the unexpected, with enough space for contradiction.

Signature Sessions are created for turning points, new chapters, personal brands and the simple desire to see yourself through different eyes.

A year later this workshop is still living in my head rent-free.

Especially whenever I prepare a shoot. Thinking about the image before stepping on set. Making decisions about mood, styling, light and what an image is actually supposed to feel like instead of trying to figure everything out once the camera is already in my hand.

I still notice pieces of that workshop showing up in the way I prepare shoots today. Not as a formula I repeat, but as a reminder that the more intentional the preparation is, the more freedom there is once the actual shooting starts.

Funny how some lessons only show their real value with a little distance.

The gallery may be delivered, but the story isn’t finished yet.

I return to every wedding one last time - selecting the photographs, the details and the words that made the day what it was like.

The result is a wedding book created as a final gift for my couples. A quiet ending to a story they‘ll keep returning to.

Some things deserve to exist beyond a screen.

I don’t envy my computer for the faces it sometimes has to look at. 😂

But I love all the more what I get to see on it almost every day. The most beautiful stories unfold during post-production, when the photos get their final touch-ups.

I’m thrilled that I got to work on a great project with and .de in the . .de provided us with the gorgeous wedding and engagement rings. I’m still completely in love with the jewelry.

And obviously, we had to Full our Break with delicious Pizza by @360.grad.pizza

Storytime: Before photographing my first q***r wedding, I was nervous.

I wanted both women to feel completely safe with me. I worried that I might unconsciously use language, questions or directions shaped by stereotypes that had no place in their relationship.

During their portrait session in the forest, an older couple walked past us. The man looked at the brides and asked, completely openly:

“So which one of you is the man?”

There it was. The exact kind of thinking I had been so afraid of bringing into their day.

And honestly: I stood there, dead silent and could not say any more than „Move on, please“.
Until today I ask myself, what could have been the „right“ answer?

Standing there with them, the question made absolutely no sense. Neither of them needed to fill a borrowed role. There were two women who knew how to make each other laugh, how to hold each other when emotions became overwhelming and how to find one another in a crowded room. That was everything I needed to understand.

I still choose my words carefully, because creating safety requires awareness as well as good intentions. Photography is shaped by the person behind the camera: by how we speak, how we look at people and which stories we consider worthy of being told.

Q***r couples are wholeheartedly welcome here. Homophobia, racism and every worldview that ranks one person’s freedom below another’s are not. If that feels too political for a photography account, this probably is not your place.

Who you love will never change the respect you receive from me. How you love each other is the story I am here to tell.

The photographs are what you receive. They are only the visible part of what you invest in when choosing high-end wedding photography.

Much of its value lies in experience: reading a room, anticipating a moment, handling changing light and knowing when to offer direction. A wedding has no second take. Moving confidently between intentional editorial portraits and unguarded documentary moments creates a coherent visual story without turning the day into a production.

You are investing in preparation, calm judgement, technical reliability and a distinct way of seeing — so you can experience your wedding fully while someone you trust preserves it with intention.

My calendar is open for selected weddings across Europe in 2027 and 2028. If you are drawn to loose editorial direction combined with cinematic documentary storytelling, tell me what you are planning.

If there just were enough reasons to smile about 🥲

Don’t get me wrong: I am a positive person and but sometimes I prefer a resting b*tch face. Especially when men try to tell me I‘d look prettier if I smile more.
