I first met these lovely people in Portugal this summer, during the portfolio event with Tanja Riedinger & Bettina Rittler . So when they reached out for my Switzerland tour, I was so happy to see them again!

I got to meet the rest of the family and their two horses and we captured so many different moments and scenarios together. A beautiful, varied shoot during a beautiful autumn evening 🤍 It wasn’t the easiest task to limit myself to just a few pictures for this one post 😂

So grateful for these little circles life brings together though ✨

This photoshoot was part of my Switzerland tour, and it was so much fun ❤️

Carina and I had the same taste in music, and I always like to play music whilst we’re shooting because it helps set the mood and inspires movement. It’s a very interesting tool to use (I might also just love music 👀😂)

We were in this beautiful little forest area, and had so much fun with the first autumn colours 🥹

It’s interesting because I still feel like you can tell which pictures were taken at the beginning and which were taken towards the end. Throughout a photoshoot, there’s this process that the client goes through. They get a bit more confident and dare to step out of their comfort zone a little bit more. It’s just so beautiful to watch 🥰

Almost every single one of my clients tells me beforehand that they’re insecure about stepping in front of the camera, that they haven’t really done this before, and that they’re not sure what to expect. But every one of them is doing an amazing job, and in hindsight, they’re so happy about the pictures.

I think Carina put it so beautifully in her reflection about our time together:
“I find it so beautiful that you’re creating a space in which we can get to know ourselves better, explore and be seen. The photoshoot with you was wonderful in every way and I can recommend it to everyone who’s still having doubts. There is no reason not to do it.”

This is what I hope people get to experience when they come to a shoot with me. You don’t have to know what you’re doing, and you don’t have to be confident in front of the camera from the beginning. You get to figure things out as you go and just see what feels right for you, whilst I am helping you along the way.

Can I move here please 🥹 just right on the beach will be fine 😂

Kleiner Portugal Throwback, weil ich immernoch nicht ansatzweise alle Bilder gezeigt habe ☺️ Dieses Shooting hat tatsächlich an meinem Geburtstag stattgefunden während der Nativehorses Portfolio Reise 🤍

Leider war ich an dem Abend nicht ganz so fit, aber auf Fotos verzichten kam natürlich trotzdem nicht infrage 😂

Eigentlich hatten wir auf Sonnenuntergang gehofft, aber je näher wir zum Strand kamen, desto klarer wurde, dass daraus wohl nichts wird. Es hat dann doch zugezogen und so ist das eben auch mit dem Meer, man weiß nie so ganz, was das Wetter am Ende macht 🤷🏻‍♀️

Aber ehrlich gesagt liebe ich das Ergebnis so wie es ist. Dunkle, mystische Stimmungen haben es mir ja sowieso angetan 🥰 manchmal weiß das Universum einfach was wir eigentlich brauchen ✨😂

Am I turning into a dog photographer? 🤯😂

Looking back, I used to photograph dogs quite a lot, next to horses and people, but over the years they kinda disappeared from my work. So when Lisa asked me to take some pictures of her and her two dogs, it was a beautiful reminder of how special these kinds of sessions can be.

Because the three of them… 🥹
You can just feel the relationship between them in these pictures. Just watch the way they look at each other 👀 ngl, I got pretty emotional when I was editing these.

And then there’s the fact that I’ve had this particular spot in the back of my mind as a potential photo location ever since I moved here. I kept walking past it thinking how beautiful and green and diverse it was and now I finally got to use it again 🙏🏼

Well… to sum it up, at the end of the day I don’t limit my art to just one animal. I photograph emotions and I want my art to make you feel something, no matter if it’s you in front of my camera, or your animals ❤️

Earlier this summer Freiheitsgefühl Pferd - Cultures & traditions with horses came to visit and I spontaneously got to tag along to one of her shoots to take some behind-the-scenes pics for her 😌

Long story short, we had the best time 😮‍💨 The location was absolutely beautiful, hidden away in the woods, the horses were amazing, the clients were lovely (they even brought pizza 👀) and the whole evening had such a great energy 🥹

They had booked a maternity/couple shoot with their horses, and everyone just did so, so well. There was so much ease and joy and love between them that I kept finding myself taking a few photos of them in between the actual BTS shots of Phylis.

Yess, these aren’t really the pictures I was there to take, but I loved them way too much to keep them to myself. So here’s my perspective of this beautiful day 🤍
