Evening atmosphere along the lively promenade of Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires. To the right, you can see the Puente de la Mujer bridge, whose architecture is inspired by the movements of two tango dancers.

Here you will find many restaurants, vibrant life, and plenty of photo opportunities. Buenos Aires is a fantastic city, full of history, culture, and surrounded by nature. And of course, it is full of football, especially in the La Boca district, where every few meters you see a picture or figure of Messi or Maradona, and alongside the Argentine flag, the blue and yellow of Boca Juniors dominates. Even the cobblestones are partly blue and yellow, and many houses as well.

From Buenos Aires, it’s just a two-hour ferry ride to Uruguay, where you’ll quickly find yourself in the heart of historic Colonia del Sacramento. Its charming cobblestone streets offer endless photo opportunities and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.

In the foreground is the Museum of History and Culture of Argentina, while in the background on the left behind you can see the municipal administration of the city of Buenos Aires. The tower is closely associated with Eva Perón, as she had her foundation and office there, if I understood everything correctly.

After a long time, I spent yesterday doing nothing but taking photos again. One of the things that always fascinates me the most is that you set out to capture a certain subject—in this case, the obelisk on Avenida 9 de Julio in Buenos Aires—and then the nearby bus stop turns out to be at least just as captivating a subject.
