In 2018, I took my first macro photo.
Today, while shooting what might be my best honey photo yet,
I found myself going back in time.
Back to 2023 – the moment I picked up macro photography again.
Three years later, that feeling came back.

A bee.🐝
A drop of honey.🍯
A brief moment – but full of detail.📸

Time to get back into macro.
Because that’s where the real things begin.

Es gibt Orte, die verdienen es, mehr als nur fotografiert zu werden. Schloss Neuschwanstein ist einer davon und genau deshalb habe ich es in meinem Buch „Made in Germany" ausgewählt. Für mich gehört es zu den schönsten und beeindruckendsten Schlössern der Welt.

Seine Geschichte ist fast so faszinierend wie sein Anblick:
Der Bau begann im Jahr 1869, als der Grundstein gelegt wurde.
Bereits im selben Jahr entstand die Zufahrtsstraße, und 1873 war der Torbau fertiggestellt, der erste Bereich, in dem König Ludwig II. zeitweise wohnte.
1880 wurde Richtfest gefeiert, und 1884 zog Ludwig Il. in die ersten Räume ein, obwohl das Schloss noch längst nicht vollendet war.
Nach seinem Tod im Jahr 1886 stoppte der Bau - viele Zimmer blieben bis heute unvollendet.
Vielleicht ist es genau das, was Neuschwanstein so einzigartig macht:
Ein Märchenschloss, das nie ganz fertig wurde, aber dennoch zu den berühmtesten Orten der Welt zählt. Eine Vision, eingefroren in Stein.
Für mich ist es mehr als ein Motiv.
Es ist ein Stück Geschichte, ein Symbol für Träume, ein Monument der Fantasie und im Winter, mit stiller Nacht und Schnee, wirkt es fast wie ein Atemzug aus einer anderen Welt.

Eibsee ❄️ a place that quiets the soul. ❄️✨

I first came here about 7–8 years ago.
Back then, I had no idea that this lake would call me back every single year.

It’s hard to explain what makes this place so special
the crystal-clear water, the silent forests, the mountains standing guard like ancient giants.
Here, you feel peace. Depth. Freedom.

Anyone who knows the Eibsee understands:
You come here once… and carry it in your heart forever. 🤍🏔️
