★SHREE TRI DEVI TEMPLE★

_-_Tri Devi Temple has got a lot of stories about the mighty warrior Bada Kaji Amar Singh Thapa. His son Randhwaj Thapa constructed this temple during 1865 BS. Legend states that Bada Kaji Amar Singh Thapa established these statues from three different places of the ancient Nepal. Legend has it that Amar Singh Thapa established the Kamarukamaksha idol from Guwahati, Assam, Dakshinkali from the central part of Nepal and Jawalamai Devi from the west. The temple of Kamarukamaksha is only here in Nepal.
★THE GARDEN OF DREAMS★

_-_Located in Kaiser Mahal which is across the street from the former Royal Palace at the entrance to the Thamel tourist area, the Garden was made famous as the Garden of Six Seasons created for Field Marshal Kaiser Sumsher Rana (1892–1964), in early 1920. The Garden, which featured a design inspired by the Edwardian style, was considered one of the most sophisticated private gardens of that time. Landscape architect Kishore Narshingh, designer of Singha Durbar and architect to Shumsher's father, the Maharaja, designed and supervised the construction of the Garden of Dreams.
★SHREE GHA (KAATHE SWYAMBHU)★

_-_The stupa is mentioned in an inscription of 1552AD (Nepal Sambat 762). It says that the golden pinnacle of the chaitya was donated by Megharaja in memory of his deceased son. He also established the guthi to perform annual commemoration. This guthi is closely related to the priests of nearby Kwa-baha. The stupa was repaired during the reign of king Pratap Malla (1624–74 AD). In 1647, the chaitya was de-consecrated, but restored by Vajracharya in 1653.
