Anticipatory nostalgia.

It’s when you’re already missing a version of them that’s still here.

Because I know one day I’ll look back and miss this exact version of him…

The sleepy cuddles.
The fuzzy sweater.
The way his arms wrap around my neck and he kisses my cheeks.

So I’m trying to slow down and soak it all in…

And remember to take photos of the little moments I want to hold onto.

Because someday, these images will remind me exactly who he was, and how this season of our lives felt.

And one day, these won’t just be photos. They’ll be memories I get to revisit. 🤍

For almost a year, this project took shape behind the scenes.

Between client sessions and galleries, family life, and raising my three boys (including my baby who was just five or six months old when this all began), I kept coming back to one question: How do I want people to feel when they find me?

I wanted my website to feel just like the experience I hope every family has with me—welcoming, thoughtful, and meaningful.

From the colours and illustrations, to the smallest details, every choice was made with intention.

I’m so excited to finally share my new online home with you. 🥰

I hope when you visit, you feel like you’ve stepped into a space created just for you, one where every detail has been thoughtfully considered, where you can exhale, feel cared for, and trust that you’re in good hands from start to finish.

I’d love to know what you think. The link to my new site is in my bio, and there’s much more there to explore. 🤍

That first year flies by in an instant, and as much as I beg it to stop, time just keeps going.

So when I photograph a first birthday, I always take time to capture their beautiful little details. Those wispy eyelashes. Tiny teeth peeking through the gums. Chubby cheeks, button noses, curious eyes, and the little expressions.

Because they’re the features you’ll one day struggle to remember exactly as they were. 🥹

These aren’t just portraits of your baby, they’re a way to hold onto this fleeting season just a little longer. 🤍

A little about me 🤍

I’m a photographer, but also a mother to three boys, and very much in my motherhood era.

Most of my life lately looks like kindergarten runs, babyccinos, bringing a baby everywhere with me, photographs overflowing in my camera roll, and trying to stay in the little moments a bit longer.

Having my children has changed the way I see everything. One day they’re asleep on your chest, asking to be carried everywhere, mispronouncing words, and reaching for your hand, and somehow those seasons become memories before you even realise they’re ending.

I think that’s why photography means so much to me.

Because photographs are one of the only ways we really get to revisit the past, and remember what things looked like and felt like too.

There’s magic in the ordinary—in the quiet in-between moments, the tiny details, the way your baby fits perfectly into your arms right now.

And those are the moments I always want to hold onto, both for my own family and for yours too. 🤍

I’ve been wanting to share a few of the keepsakes I treasure from this fleeting season of motherhood. 🤍

I’ve always been deeply sentimental by nature. I want to remember the tiny details, hold onto each stage just a little longer, and keep pieces of these precious years with me—tiny hands, little voices, growing footprints, the feeling of this chapter as it unfolds.

That’s a big part of why I became a photographer. Photographs do the same thing for me—they hold onto moments that change too quickly.

These keepsakes in this carousel are some of my favourites, and of course… I’m always taking lots of photographs too. 📷

What’s one keepsake you treasure most from motherhood? 🤍

Did you know that you can celebrate a birthday with a milestone session instead of a cake smash? Or combine both! 🤍

We can style it with birthday hats, client closet pieces, balloons, toys, and more to make it feel really special.

You’re also welcome to bring along your own meaningful items, like a favourite toy or special blanket, to make it even more personal. 🧸

A lovely way to celebrate your baby’s milestone and create keepsake images to treasure forever. ✨
