I remember sitting at home during flight school together with Mario Nonaka creating videos of LH A340-600 flights playing this song, drinking beers and dreaming about flying this beauty someday.
While we all started flying for Lufthansa in 2003, It took some time to fulfill that dream. Between 2017 and 2020 I had the privilege to sit behind the controls for close to 1000hrs.
I probably had roughly the same amount of time in it as a passenger.
We flew to PVG, JNB, IAD, FRA, EWR, CPT, ORD, DEN, ICN, LAX, MEX, JFK, CLT, YVR, SFO and of course back to MUC.
