Our first photo shoot in 2024! To be honest, it was still pretty chilly at 8 degrees🥶and afterwards we needed to warm up in a café🔥But the photos were absolutely worth it and winter light simply has one of the most beautiful qualities.

🌬❄️The land stretches out before us, naked and unfiltered. The winter goddess has stripped it of all gentleness. She can be a harsh teacher. Stripped bare, her land lies at our feet, and if we find the courage, like her, to let go of all protective covers, then...
..the gates open to a deep connection with the essence of life. 🌺 In her barren realm of silence and frost, the winter goddess teaches us the transformative power of authenticity. Every step we take on her bare ground is an invitation to shed our masks and reveal our true nature.

The harsh teacher reminds us that true strength lies in letting go. If, inspired by her land, we summon the courage to free ourselves from the remnants of times past, we can experience the refreshing clarity of the present.

The winter goddess challenges us to give up our resistance to the discomfort of life and to see the cold as an opportunity for inner warmth. Her icy touch may frighten us at first, but in being open to this experience lies the power to find our own light in the midst of darkness. ✨🌑

Actually, I wanted to go hiking in Bavaria today. But the only valley road was closed and in order not to have to go back the same way, I took the only possible turnoff and ended up in Tyrol, Austria, 🤣 where I discovered this mountain beauty. 🌄

I gifted myself with a book by Heide Göttner-Abendroth, which is about matriarchal landscape mythology. She writes that many landscapes, which were previously sacred, were demonized in order to dissuade people from their worship of nature. This is often reflected in the name "Teufel" (German: Devil). So today my dad and I went for a long hike to visit the "Teufelsstettkopf" which means "Head of the place where the devil lives". It was a very rough and magical landscape, high up at 1758 m above sea level. Well, we didn´t meet the devil but probably it was the place of worship of an ancient alpine god or goddess...
