At first we thought it is going to be a miss like the day before and everything will stay covered in fog, but all of a sudden it cleared and as the cherry on the cake, a paraglider came to visit us from above 😁 Unforgettable moments! Eversince I took this series I wanted to find a look that suits them all. I Think I now got it and I hope you like it!
To me this covered glacier tells a story that goes beyond climate change. It is a story about humanity, a story about fighting the inevitable, a story of beeing too late and trying to cure only symptoms instead of tackling the problems at its roots…
What do you see in this spectre like figures that once were a mighty glacier?

I am over and over again amazed by what a wideangle can do. This frame was a tiny gap between two ice plates, yet it looks like I was standing inside an ice cave 😁 Nice find on a good Morning in the far north 😊

Our first night of trip and we got a crazy display of the northern lights over this iconic beach. So many options to capture the Aurora with some reflecting puddles. Focusstacking in the dark and under pressure is always a bit challenging but worked kind of ok in the end 😊

Here is a Lofoten classic. While everyone was asleep I had this special place all for myself while waiting in vain for some Aurora here. But the Moon made it extra special 😊

RIP Reynisfjara

Right now it looks like that shots like thisare a thing of the past. The sandbeach has been washed away over the last week. 50-60m of the Beach are gone and the water now reaches the cliffs.
Over the years I had some of my best photography moments here. So I am really sad that this wont be possible anymore. 😢Thankful for every shot tho!
