Ohhhh where do I even start? North Dakota youāre special!
I got to meet and capture so many faces, so many stories, and so many lives. The gratitude I have for this place and its people is impossible to put into words.
Minot/ North Dakota had shaped me into the photographer and person I am today. It taught me how I want to serve my clients, how to stand up for them, and how to stand up for myself. I discovered a passion for birth work, had the privilege of holding space during one of the most vulnerable moments in a motherās life, and then got to preserve those memories through my camera.
That is something Iāll never take for granted.
I just want to say thank you. Thank you for trusting me, for giving me so many opportunities, and for all the kind words youāve shared about me and my work. Every session, every recommendation, and every conversation has meant more than youāll ever know.
Our next adventure, if you havenāt heard yet is Germany! š©šŖ
Weāre moving back to where I was born and raised. And you know what? Iām equally nervous and excited, but I recently learned those are basically the same feeling, so I guess Iām just excited.
As excited as I am, Iām also grieving. Our house. The land. And most of all, the people. But North Dakota will always be part of my story and a huge part of who I am.
Thank you for being such an important chapter in our lives. Weāll carry a piece of North Dakota with us wherever we go.
With gratitude,
