Z is for Zweibrücken 🇩🇪

The towering spires of Alexanderkirche rise above the city skyline. Originally built in the 15th century, the church is one of the oldest and most recognizable landmarks in Zweibrücken.

With this photo, the A–Z journey across Germany finally comes to an end — but the memories from living there and exploring the country will always stay with us.

Z is for Zweibrücken 🇩🇪

At the center of town stands Zweibrücken Castle (Herzogschloss) — a baroque palace that now serves as the seat of the regional court. Its wide cobblestone plaza and symmetrical façade make it one of the most striking buildings in the city.

This marks the final stop in my A–Z tour of Germany, a project inspired by the years I spent living and traveling across the country.

Z is for Zweibrücken 🇩🇪

This quiet corner of southwest Germany is home to the beautiful Rosengarten Zweibrücken, one of the largest rose gardens in Europe. Walking through the terraced gardens and reflecting pools here feels like stepping into a peaceful hidden park that most travelers never discover.

After working my way through the alphabet across Germany, it’s fitting to finish the series in a place that feels calm and timeless.
