Beauty-shooting on the beach of the Baltic Sea!

The weather service had issued a wind warning and the model was a bit upset. I calmed her down: "Honey, don't worry about your hat! I'm sure it will be found in a few days. You flowing hair looks gorgeous! Did you get sand in your eyes? Hm? What's with your eyelashes? The wind took your EYELASHES?"

Hochzeitsflugbetrieb in unserem Garten: die paarungsbereiten Ameisen gehen in die Luft. Liebe verleiht Flügel. Nach einer Stunde waren alle Hochzeiter in der Luft und der Flugbetrieb wurde eingestellt.

In our garden ants started into their honeymoon. Flights were leaving every second. Traffic stopped after an hour, when all brides and grooms had left.

Today I found a used U.S. air mail "Liberty for All" stamp in a small wooden box, together with a handful of equally old Britisch and Spanish stamps. It is stamped with the message "PRAY FOR PEACE". The stamp was issued from 1959 until 1966, so this specific letter could have been sent during the Cuba Crisis or the Vietnam War.

Does the USPS still print messages about Liberty and Peace?

What have I this time?

1. forgot to remove the lens cap. Easy to overlook with an analog viewfinder camera.
2. forgot the lens hood. Especially bad when shooting older glass, which usually cannot deal well with stray light. Bring a hat.
3. forgot to remove cap and hand from lens. Easy to overlook when using the sport viewfinder of a twin lens reflex.
4. forgot there was still an exposed film in the camera. This film is now really well exposed.
5. forgot to put the lid of the development tank into the changing bag. A bad think to discover after having spooled the film out of its cartridge.
6. forgot the camera altogether. Avoids all the other mistakes.
