I’ll be giving 2 live talks in Paris next week for the Fujikina Paris 2026. I will be going through what I look for on the street, and how I use various techniques to achieve specific visual outputs. Colormatches, double exposures, black and white, pattern recognition…. I cover it all.

What an amazing day at Sydhavnens festival yesterday - Such a unique atmosphere. Super cool acts and just an overall awesome setting in the old shipping district of Aarhus.

I brought my Leica M10D and the Mandler lens 35mm f/2 that just keeps on delivering! EVERYTIME. I loooove the way this lens renders. And at the current asking price, it’s a complete no brainer for any M mount user.

This is a post I’ve really been looking forward to sharing. I have been so incredibly privileged to have a brief 4 days with the very early prototype of the newly announced LightLensLab 35mm f/2 APO lens. 🤩
I have used so many 35mm lenses over the years, and for the Leica M system it’s by far my favourite focal length. I’m a complete sucker for character in lenses, and often end up choosing them over the more corrected lenses. This lens however is different.
To this day this 35/2 APO is the best performing 35mm lens I have ever mounted on any of my cameras. It’s beyond sharp at all apertures, at all areas of the image. Distortion is nowhere to be found, and neither is chromatic aberrations. Bokeh rendering is smooth, and exhibits no visible optical vignetting. Even at its extended closest focus it renders flawlessly. (Last 2 images is close focus and extended close focus). It is by all measures as close to perfection as I have ever seen a lens. I am beyond impressed!
I cannot WAIT to get the final production copy in my hands. I fear it will never leave my Leica camera again.

The Fujinon XF35mm f/1.4R. ♥️ My forever favourite. Here’s a small collection of images done with it. Some from last week (1,3,5,6,7) some from years ago. They all resonate the same with me. This lens shaped my photography over the last 15 years. I don’t have enough superlatives to describe it. However, Rumle Tornhøj Skafte had me try and find some words for it for a video he did.
