I took my camera on holiday. Of course I did.

One evening at Monverde Wine Experience Hotel in Portugal, the light across the vineyards was impossible to ignore. My daughter and husband gave me a few minutes in front of the camera, and this little series was the result.

No brief, no schedule—just beautiful light, an inspiring location and the people closest to me.

Even when I’m not working, I’m still looking for what I always want to capture in a portrait: light, character and connection.

Childhood wonder on the Golden Bridge in Vietnam.
High above the mountains, surrounded by clouds and golden light, there was a quiet moment of curiosity, imagination, and discovery.
