After shooting digital, for many years, I fell in love with analog film photography. Unlike my digital cameras, where it warrants high speed action without much process, the analog film camera's allows me to take my time – tak

ing in a deep breath, before I pull the trigger and focusing on the whole to which will be revealed at a later time. The experience of the darkroom and process opens up to a fine artistic photographic visual, where one can see the result unfold. My personal mission is to do what I love, and make a living from it.

- To travel the world assisting others through my photography by sharing the human interest stories of our people. I feel, that this is the least I can do, in my humble contribution to humanity.

Now this photo, makes evidence of something, once we’re, but now sadly is gone.

This is actually one of the reasons, that I LOVE to photograph old buildings.

On my road trip in 2019, I had a shot stop over in the small town, Holy Bluff, Mississippi. And I loved the looks of this small gas station and community gathering spot.

In October this year, I had close to same road trip, and also got through Holy Bluff.
But sadly the gas station was burned down.

ORANGE MONSTER RF14 #1

Going through your archive, can open your mind of where you are today, as an artist.
Open up questions like, what you have been doing for last couple of years, what direction you want to move, and maybe also, how to get there.

This one, almost six years ago, Roskilde Festival, Denmark, Pentax67, Kodak portra400.

Recently I picked up shooting medium format film again.

There are several reasons for this.

As I was going through my archive, looking for content for my newly started business , I stumble upon a bunch of old images.

Because of my lack of skills, of shooting evening and night on film, I began to look A LOT of YouTube toturials.
And among other things, I discovered about reciprocity failure.
In short, ad time to your metered time, when shooting film.

All that YouTube, made me miss, shooting with my Mamyia7 and Pentax67.
But the best part, is that it gave me a new energy, as photographer, to go out and shoot again.

This image is not shot with reciprocity failure, nor needed it, but I will post some in the near future of my practice.

The best thing about roadtrips, is the possibility to drive where ever you want to. That is for me the true adventure.

Like this, driving through a very small town in the Mississippi delta, having a short stop just to breath in the atmosphere, shooting a few frames, talking to some locals and then move on.
