When I photograph a family, I’m not trying to create a perfectly posed portrait.

I’m trying to capture what your family actually feels like: the way your toddler runs to hide behind your leg, the tired but happy energy of a Sunday morning, the way your partner looks at you when they think no one’s watching.

That’s the stuff that matters in ten years, not stiff smiles at the camera.

My approach is documentary and lifestyle based. Minimal direction, maximum authenticity. I’m there to notice and capture, not to stage.

What clients tell me again and again is that they chose me for two reasons:

1. I know how to work with real families, not models.

18 years behind the camera means I know how to read a room, when to step back, when a moment is about to happen, how to get genuine reactions instead of «say cheese» smiles.

2. My background as a doula changes how I shoot.

10 years of supporting families through pregnancy and birth gave me something most photographers don’t have: a deep understanding of family dynamics, of vulnerability, of how to make people feel safe and unguarded in front of a camera.

That trust is what makes the difference between a nice photo and a photo that actually feels like you.

If you want photos that feel like your life, not a stock photo of your life, let’s talk.

Can’t quite believe this happened.

A couple posted in a Facebook group asking for elopement photographer recommendations - and within hours, there were literally hundreds of comments. Hundreds of photographers, hundreds of styles, hundreds of options.

And somehow, they chose me.

Not because I was the loudest voice in the thread. Because when they scrolled through my work, something about it just *felt right* to them - the light, the quiet in-between moments, the way I capture two people who forgot the camera was even there.

Here’s what that taught me (again): there is no «best» elopement photographer. There’s only the right one - for *you*.

Your love story isn’t generic, so why would your photographer be? Some couples want dramatic cliffside portraits. Others want raw, unposed documentary moments. Some want editorial elegance, others want barefoot-in-the-grass simplicity.

That’s the beauty of this industry - with so many incredible photographers out there, every single couple can find someone whose eye matches their heart. You don’t have to settle. You don’t have to pick the most popular name in the group. You just have to find the person whose work makes you stop scrolling.

If my style is that for you - I’d be honored to be part of your day. 🤍

Are you having your maternity time in Denmark? This is something for you here.

This session was taken one week before the baby arrived. It turned out beautifully- but it’s not the timing I’d recommend. The window I always suggest is 30–35 weeks: the belly is fully there, energy is still good, and there’s room to spare if the due date shifts.

Photographing pregnancy is a delicate thing. There’s a body changing, nerves, tiredness, a quiet vulnerability under the «glow» everyone talks about.

My job isn’t to pose that away - it’s to protect it and let it become part of the story. Ten years as a doula taught me how to read a room, slow down, let silence do its work. Twenty years behind the camera turned that into images that actually feel like the people in them.

This matters most with couples. Pregnancy sessions are rarely about one person - they’re two people learning a new closeness, often a little awkward in front of a camera. My style is documentary, minimal direction, real moments. That’s why people relax fast with me: nothing asks them to perform.

This is also why I built the Pregnancy + Baby package:
one package, two moments that belong together: the anticipation, and the arrival, planned around the right week, without the pressure this particular story had.

If you’re expecting: don’t wait until the end.
Let’s talk while there’s still time to do it right.

Every single time, my heart does the same thing. 🤍

No matter how many proposals I’ve documented, the moment before it happens still gets me: that mix of love, nerves, and hope hanging in the air. I don’t just show up to take pictures. I show up to witness something real.

And this time I almost blew it.

I was standing there, two cameras around my neck, completely ready, when the groom-to-be walked up and casually asked me to take a photo of them on his phone. 😅 Me. The «stranger» he had no idea was actually his secret weapon.

I said yes, smiled, snapped his little phone photo like it was nothing... and a few minutes later, captured the real moment he’d been planning for weeks.

This is why I love what I do. Not the gear, not the poses, the story, the surprise, the love that’s about to change someone’s life. 📸✨

You should choose me as your family photographer 📸
And that’s why!

You have plenty of photographers to choose from. Here’s why I might be the right one for your family, and not just another name on a list.

**1. I know family life, because I live it**

I’m a mother myself, so I’m not walking into your session expecting perfection. I know the outfit changes, the meltdowns, the «just five more minutes» chaos before we even start. You won’t need to apologize to me for your real life. I’m already prepared for it, and I know how to work around it so everyone actually relaxes.

“She just got it, no stress, no fake smiles, she worked around our kids instead of the other way around”

**2. I won’t make you perform for the camera**

If you hate posed, stiff family photos, you’re in the right place. I shoot documentary style, capturing how your family actually moves, laughs, and loves, not how you think you’re supposed to look. You’ll get photos that feel like *you*, not a stock photo of a happy family.

“Looking at our photos feels like looking at a memory, not a photoshoot.”

**3. I put your comfort before the «perfect shot»**

My priority is always you and your kids feeling at ease, not chasing a specific pose or forcing a smile. The beautiful images come naturally once everyone’s relaxed, and that’s what you’re paying for: real ease, not a rushed, high pressure hour.

**4. I can be with your family for years, not just one session**

From maternity to newborn to those wild toddler years, I love growing alongside families. Choose me once, and you likely won’t need to look for someone new every time your family changes. Your story stays with one person who already knows you.

If you want a photographer who sees your family the way you do, let’s talk. 💛

Some photographers shoot where they live. I go where my families are. ✈️📸

I met this family a year ago. I was supposed to fly to Budapest for our first session together - but it didn’t work out, and instead we met later that year in Copenhagen.

This year, I flew to Munich to photograph them again. Next year, we’re already planning Edinburgh.

This is what sets the way I work apart: I don’t just photograph a family once. I follow them - across cities, across years, across the different chapters of their lives.

By the time I pick up my camera with a family for the second or third time, there’s no awkwardness, no posing, no «look at me and smile.» Just trust. And that trust is what makes the images real.

Add to that my background as a doula - I’ve spent 10 years learning how to read a room, hold space, and make people feel completely at ease in front of me.

That’s not something every photographer brings to a family session. It’s the difference between photos that look nice, and photos that actually feel like your family.

So if you’re picturing a session somewhere far from home - your home, a city you love, or a place that means something to your story - know that I’m always happy to build it into my schedule.

I’d love to be the person who documents your family, wherever in the world that takes us.

With gratitude,
Nataly

They met on a dance floor - which, if you think about it, is basically speed-dating with better rhythm.

One salsa turn led to a shared life, and now they still dance together, just with a lot more paperwork and one very official Danish marriage certificate.

She’s Spanish, he’s Cuban, they live in Germany, and somehow decided the only sensible place to say “I do” was Copenhagen. Honestly, more romantic couples should make illogical geography a personal brand.

Love has no borders, no passports, and apparently no need for a shared home country before the wedding.

It’s this kind of story - big feelings, bigger flights, zero logic - that I live for as a photographer. It’s exactly why I do what I do.

📅 2027 wedding season is officially open for bookings.

Summer dates always vanish first (much like good dance partners at a wedding reception), so if you’re planning your own cross-border love story, now’s the time to grab your date.

It feels like just yesterday you were holding them - tiny, sweet, fitting perfectly in your arms.

And somehow, in the blink of an eye, they’re 20 years old, all grown up, and that little person is gone forever. Kids grow up so fast - the way they held your hand, the way they laughed at nothing, the way your whole family looked together on an ordinary Tuesday.

Those moments feel like they’ll last forever, but they don’t.

That’s why I believe family photography isn’t a luxury - it’s how we hold on to time. Not posed, not stiff - just you, being you, together.

With 18 years behind the camera and 10 years working as a doula, I bring something different to every session:
patience, warmth, and a deep sensitivity to real emotional connection.

I’m not just there to click a shutter - I’m there to notice the small, real, unrepeatable moments between you and the people you love most. That’s what doula work taught me: presence matters more than perfection.

My style is documentary and lifestyle: a good mixer of guided posing, minimum staged shots and maximum authenticity. No forced smiles, no “look at the camera and say cheese.” Just your family, as you really are.

If you’re in Copenhagen and want photos that actually feel like your life, not a catalog - I’d love to be the one to capture it for you. 📸

The dress was stunning, the connection between them even more so. Smiles, laughter, quiet glances that said everything.

This gorgeous Italian couple dreamed of something small and intimate: no crowds, no chaos, none of the beautiful (but big) Italian wedding traditions they grew up with. Just the two of them, Copenhagen’s City Hall, and a handful of people who mattered most.

Honestly, it was over far too quickly. We had just one hour together, and while that’s tight, it’s enough to capture a full ceremony plus a beautiful little portrait session right in the heart of the city.

Proof that intimate doesn’t mean less. It just means every single moment counts.

I’m now opening bookings for 2027 and 2028! If you’re dreaming of a small, meaningful City Hall wedding in Copenhagen (Italian, Danish, or from anywhere in the world) I’d be so happy to help you hold onto these memories forever.

Where are you going, summer? We literally just met!

This happens every year.
Summer and I had plans. Big plans. Apparently summer had other plans. ☀️😅 it slips through your fingers and you are getting older on one year….

And yet - here we are, still in June, which means there’s still time to make something beautiful out of it this year.

A family shoot, golden light, kids being exactly themselves - chaotic, sweet, and growing up way too fast. To remember? To stay present!

If you’ve been thinking about booking a session this summer, this is your nudge.

I love seeing familiar faces come back year after year - watching the same little humans get taller, braver, and somehow even more themselves. 🌿

For my returning clients, I have a special summer offer waiting for you.
