There’s a funny thing about babies- they’re changing so quickly that sometimes you need a photograph to realise just how tiny they actually were 😆
Little fingers wrapped around yours or toes you could almost count one by one, thise squishy lips and milky little noses 🥰
And then there’s that moment when you hold their hand and think whether this baby used to fit in the palm of my hand 🥹

So much beauty and even more feeling, but when I look through this gallery, what gets me every time is just how much love there was between these two 🧡
They were so completely themselves with each other- so much warmth in the way they were together and so many little moments that felt completely natural and unplanned 🥰 And I think that’s what made their day so beautiful- you could actually feel how much this day meant to them 💕

I’d really like to have a word with whoever decided summer should be this short 😆
Melting ice creams that taste like heaven on a hot day, warm sunsets by the sea, blueberry buns from grandma eaten on warm grass, cold watermelon, crunchy lightly pickled cucumbers straight from the jar, wet feet, salty skin and all those little moments you don’t even realise you’ll miss until they’re gone 🥺
Like a warm evening in the garden with a hose- you just turn on the water and kids already know what to do from there 😂 Nothing planned- just summer being summer 💕
And since I can’t slow time down, I’ll at least keep pieces of it 😇

A little boy, sandy toes and the kind of laughter you wish you could keep forever ☺️
These days seem so ordinary while you’re living them, yet somehow become the ones you miss most once they’re gone.
He will grow, of course- his little hands will get bigger, his steps more confident and one day he will no longer be this tiny boy exploring the world by the sea.
But for now, he is one. And this is what one looked like- a summer day by the sea, surrounded by the people who love him most 🧡
