A little preview of what’s coming over the next few weeks… 🦊❤️

These three little fox cubs were the very first dream I checked off my 2026 list.

Looking back at this year, I feel incredibly privileged. Not only because of the wildlife I’ve been lucky enough to photograph, but because the forest has given me something much more important.

A place to disappear for a while.
A place to breathe.
A place to clear my head and simply be myself. ❤️

2026 has been one of the hardest years for me personally. A long, dark battle with myself.

But somewhere between the trees, the silence and these incredible animals, I’ve found small pieces of light again. 🥹

And these three little troublemakers were where it all started.

21 dreams checked off so far… and there’s still plenty more to come. ❤️📸

Thank you, 2026 so far.

The biggest problem with a 600mm f/4?
Sometimes the wildlife is just too damn close. 😂

No crop. Just 600mm doing 600mm things. 🐻📷

A powerful European bison bull from Lille Vildmose 🦬🌿

One of the true giants of the Danish wilderness. Standing this close to a bull like this, you really get a sense of just how massive and powerful these animals are. The thick coat, heavy head and impressive horns make this guy hard to ignore.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to come across a large herd of European bison near the Øster Hurup tower in Lille Vildmose. 🦬📸

It’s not often I’ve seen this many bison gathered so close to the fence. Needless to say, the camera got a little workout. 😂

A few moments from an amazing encounter in Lille Vildmose.

The moment I finally knew they were all okay. 🥹❤️

The day before, I had seen this family together around 4 PM.

Then I saw a bear alone that I thought might be the mother — perhaps injured, perhaps separated from her cubs.

The next day, I waited in the hide.

Two long hours passed before she finally appeared…

and then, one by one, her cubs came out.

The relief I felt is impossible to put into words.

And then they were all there.
Together. Safe. ❤️🐻

A moment I will never forget. 🥹

I was afraid she might be the mother… injured and without her cubs. 🐻💔

If she was their mother…
where were her babies?

The day before, they had all been together.
Mother and cubs, arriving around 4 PM.

So I returned to the hide the next day…
hoping, praying, that I would see them again.

But they didn’t come.

One hour passed.
Then another…

Two long hours of waiting.

And then, suddenly…
she appeared. 🥹❤️

And a little while later…
her cubs came running in too.

The relief was overwhelming.

They were all safe. ❤️

And then came the moment I will never forget…

the whole family, together again. 🐻❤️

Some moments make every second of waiting worth it. 🥹❤️
