- Evolution of Friendship: Finding Our New Spot -

Last week, I took a stroll with one of my closest friends. We ended up near a spot we used to frequent in our younger days. It felt like we had outgrown that place, but we stumbled upon a new spot nearby that I think became our new favorite hangout. Though it's not captured in this picture, its near a place that holds the essence of our cherished memories.

Hyde Park London

Since my last visit to London back in 2017, I've undergone quite a transformation, one that's been for the better. Back then, the bustling energy of the city filled me with excitement and wonder. Every corner seemed to hold a new adventure, and I eagerly soaked in the vibrant atmosphere.

However, returning to London recently, I found myself viewing it through a different lens. While the city still buzzed with activity and charm, I couldn't help but notice a sense of overwhelm creeping in. The constant stream of people, the myriad of activities, and the endless array of sights and sounds felt a bit too much to take in.

But rather than feeling disappointed, this change in perspective marked a significant growth for me. I realized that I've become more aware of my own boundaries and limits. Instead of trying to absorb everything at once, I now understand the importance of pacing myself and taking moments to pause and reflect.

— Moonlit Wanderings: A Night Without a Camera —
As I wandered through the quiet streets at night, the moon hung low in the sky, casting a silver glow over everything it touched. Its serene presence mesmerized me, pulling my gaze upwards as I strolled along. In that moment, I longed to capture its beauty forever, but then I realized that I had forgotten my camera at home. Yet, as I stood there, bathed in the moon's ethereal light, I took my phone to try capture it without good success.

- Greenland: A Vital Piece of My Identity -

Today while I am not home, I want to show you my home country - Kalaallit Nunaat or Greenland. Greenland, vast and magnificent, holds a special place within me. Its icy fjords, towering glaciers, and rugged landscapes resonate deeply, intertwining with the fabric of my being. Greenland is more than just its physical features, it is a land steeped in culture and history. My people, the Inuit people have called this land home for centuries, our traditions and way of life deeply rooted in its icy soil. My ancestors resilience in the harsh Arctic environment inspires me to embrace my heritage, to cherish the values passed down through generations. Greenland's significance in shaping my identity goes beyond its geographical boundaries. It reminds me to appreciate the beauty of simplicity.

- Embracing the Familiar Horizon -

The day had been filled with adventures, laughter, and the joy of exploring. Yet, amidst the excitement, there was a longing for something familiar, something that whispered of comfort and belonging. And so, I pause, I breathe, and I allow myself to be safe by the familiar horizon. For the one who is far from home, this view becomes a temporary refuge, a sanctuary that echoes with memories yet to be made. The longing of home never seems to fade, but in this moment, I find comfort in the knowledge that until I reach my final destination, this view will be mine to cherish, offering a sense of belonging amidst the longing.
