Finally made it to the Zaanse Schans! I got up at 5 AM to arrive before anyone else, and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Definitely worth getting up that early.

One of the best places to watch the sunset in Kalmthoutse Heide.

A short walk from Stappersven brings you to Kleine Stapper, a viewpoint overlooking the heath and the lake. As the sun disappeared below the horizon, it created this beautiful scene.

Definitely a spot worth visiting if you're in the area.
