About 2 weeks ago, we were given an assignment called “advertising in environment”, where we had to go out and find a product and a location that matched the overall expression.

I chose to go to JKE Design in Viborg, because I felt like their surroundings fit perfectly with the style I wanted to create.
The first impression when you walk in is very calm and cozy, but still professional, which created some really good conditions to work in. Here I found a product from Nicolas Vahé, which I chose to use for my advertisement photo, as it fit well into the environment and supported the visual look I was going for.

I worked with several different setups, angles, and lighting to find the right expression. It gave me the chance to experiment and learn how small changes can make a big difference in the final result.

I personally think the final result turned out really well, considering all the different setups I worked with, and I’m especially happy with how the mood and the product come together in the image.

A big thank you to JKE Design in Viborg for the opportunity and for letting me use their beautiful surroundings – it has been a really great experience 🙏

The first assignment we worked on at Media College GF2 was an exercise where the teacher said: "Here are two clothespins- create something imaginative with them." I decided to join the two clothespins together and place a leaf on top of one of them, using simple materials to tell a story.

The final result turned out exactly as I had hoped, and I am very satisfied with the outcome. The simplicity of the materials allowed the concept to stand out clearly.

In my interpretation, the two clothespins represent a couple embracing each other- almost like an engaged couple-holding the leaf as if it were their baby. The background figure can be seen as the child later in life, or perhaps as a mysterious presence, leaving the interpretation open to the viewer.

Food and alcohol with a purpose.

This series explores the tension between food and alcohol through contrast, staging, and visual discomfort. Familiar objects are removed from their expected context and presented as form, surface, and atmosphere rather than as something to be consumed.

In the first image, a fast-food burger is carefully plated with cutlery and glassware, mimicking a refined dining setup. Behind it, alcohol appears dirty and chaotic — mixed, grounded in soil, and stripped of its usual appeal. The image reverses expectations and questions how presentation defines value.

The second image isolates a single piece of sushi, suspended above a bottle filled with colored liquid. An object often associated with precision and quality is placed in an unnatural position, creating distance rather than harmony. Here, food and alcohol are deliberately separated to emphasize contrast instead of balance.

The final image brings all elements together. Food, alcohol, light, and color coexist within the same frame, forming a controlled but unresolved composition. Rather than offering closure, the image intensifies the tension, allowing the series to end without resolution.

Here recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Uhrskov Vinhandel in Herning, where I was given the opportunity to take photos of the shop – both inside and outside. The visit was completely voluntary, driven by my passion for photography and my interest in highlighting local businesses and the atmosphere they create.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was met with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, open, and happy to talk about the shop, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It is always inspiring to meet people who are passionate about what they do, and that was clearly the case at Uhrskov Vinhandel.

My goal with this visit was not only to take photos, but also to capture the feeling of the place – the details, the layout, the light, and the overall character of the shop. I always try to tell a story through my images, and in this case, it was about showcasing a local wine shop with personality, quality, and a strong sense of identity.

After editing the photos, the final images were, of course, approved by Uhrskov Vinhandel before being shared publicly. I have now uploaded the photos to my Google Maps profile, where they can hopefully help others get a better impression of the shop before visiting. I truly believe that visual content plays a big role in how we experience places today, especially local businesses.

A big thank you to Uhrskov Vinhandel for the hospitality, the openness, and the opportunity to work with you. It was a great experience, and I truly enjoyed every part of the process – from shooting to editing and sharing the final result.

If you are ever in Herning and have an interest in wine, I can definitely recommend stopping by and experiencing the place for yourself.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to do my very first photoshoot with a good old friend of mine. He was amazing to work with and such a great person to photograph.

I've called this photo series:
Lysten til at lære fra sig!

(The desire to pass on knowledge!)
Because André is trained as a teacher and now works in the museum world.

And to do what he does, you truly need that passion for sharing knowledge — whether as a teacher or as a coordinator and developer in the museum’s communication department.
So at the end of the day, a huge thank you for giving me the chance to create this with you .
