Vintage Visual The future of film developing at home. Kaameraid rendime me minimaalselt kaheks päevaks. Sina pildista, meie hoolitseme ülejäänu eest!

Analoogkaamera rentimine annab hea võimaluse tutuvuda esimest korda analoogkaamerate maailmaga või proovida endale huvipakkuvat kaamerat. Lisaks saate osta kaasa filme ja pärast rendiperioodi ilmutame teie filmid koostöös Fotomeister plussiga.

If you’ve ever tried developing Super 8 or 16mm at home, you know the first problem. Finding a tank. The Lomo tank went out of production long time ago. So now you’re searching eBay, checking forums, asking around. If you find one, the whole workflow is manual. Every roll is a guess. Getting consistent results from one development to the next is the part nobody talks about.

There needs to be something better.

Here is project Fränk. A semi-automatic, motorized film processor for Super 8, Double 8, and 16mm. You pour the chemistry. Frank handles agitation, timing, and temperature compensation. One standalone unit, under one litre of chemistry per fill.

We’re documenting the whole build as it happens in oir blog. First blog entry is up. Link in first comment.

If you shoot cine film or know someone who does, here’s how you can help. Share this post. Drop the link in a Super 8 group or a Reddit thread where someone asks about home development. The cine community is small and spread out. We can’t find everyone on our own. You can be of huge help.

Lets make home developing easier!

Frank is built on the same time-compensation technology that powers our AGO Film Processor.

Pushing the limits with a new product, again.

Introducing REEL – Paper 8: we’ve taken the idea of Super 8 with AGO further and made it possible to develop large paper prints up to 12×16” (30×40 cm) in a standard Paterson 8-reel tank — something no one has ever done before. No trays, no extra fuss. Hand-develop black & white prints, or pair it with the AGO for RA-4 colour prints at home.

Paper 8 lets you push your home darkroom further, giving you the freedom to experiment with bigger prints and bold colours.

Big prints. Small footprint.

Developing Kodak Gold in a Kodak C‑41 Film Processing kit at home. How easy is that!

The whole process becomes smooth and relaxing: Just load the tank, set the program, press start and just wait for the chemistry to do its magic. It’s incredibly satisfying to pull perfectly developed negatives out of the tank, with warm, nostalgic Kodak colors and organic grain, all created at home rather than in a lab. Enjoy this experience from a brand that’s been shaping our visual memories for over 100 years.

We launched our Super 8 reel in October 2024, and since then we’ve been working tirelessly to fulfill orders while scaling up production. The wait is finally over—our Super 8 reels are now in stock and ready to ship worldwide.

Four days ago, the first review dropped on YouTube. We sent an early unit to TheCinematographyLab, who put it through its paces with both hand agitation and the Ago film processor’s time compensation feature. The results speak for themselves.

Swipe right to see stills from scans made with the new reel.
