There’s something about chasing the aurora that’s hard to explain.
Every time it starts the same, checking forecasts, thinking if it’s worth going, packing the gear, and heading out into the cold. Sometimes it’s deep winter, sometimes it’s just dark enough, but it’s always quiet and a bit uncertain.
You drive to some random spot, walk into the dark, not really seeing where you step. No idea if anything will happen. Most of the time, nothing does.
And then sometimes… it does.
You don’t even know what you got until you’re back home, going through the photos the next day. That moment, when you finally see it on the screen, it’s hard to describe.
Now the nights are getting shorter and brighter here in Estonia, which means this season is slowly coming to an end. So I wanted to share a few moments from the past years.
Hope you feel a bit of it too.
