تعرفوا على قرد العنكبوت الأسود
بأطرافه المصممة للحركة الرشيقة وذيله الذي يعمل تقريبا كأنه يد خامسة، يُعد قرد العنكبوت الأسود من أكثر الرئيسيات قدرة على أداء الحركات البهلوانية في العالم. ويتميز بذيل قابض قوي الدرجة أنه يستطيع حمل وزن جسمه بالكامل، مما يمكنه من التنقل بسهولة بين قمم الأشجار في الغابات المطيرة.
ينحدر هذا النوع من القردة من الغابات المطيرة في شمال أمريكا الجنوبية ويقضي معظم حياته بعيدا عن الأرض، متغذيا بشكل أساسي على الفواكه كما يلعب دورا مهما في نشر البذور، مما يساعد على الحفاظ على صحة الغابات الاستوائية وتنوعها الحيوي.
لكن للأسف، أدى فقدان الموائل الطبيعية والصيد إلى تراجع أعداده في أجزاء من نطاق انتشاره، مما يجعل جهود الحفاظ عليه أكثر أهمية من أي وقت مضى.

Meet the Black Spider Monkey 🐒
With limbs built for agility and a tail that functions almost like a fifth hand, black spider monkeys are among the most acrobatic primates in the world. Their remarkable prehensile tails are strong enough to support their entire body weight, allowing them to move effortlessly through the forest canopy.
Native to the rainforests of northern South America, these monkeys spend most of their lives high above the forest floor, feeding mainly on fruits and playing an important role in seed dispersal, helping maintain the health and diversity of tropical forests.
Unfortunately, habitat loss and hunting have led to declining populations across parts of their range, making conservation efforts increasingly important.
