| Day 2 - Part 3 | - Friday - The International Day
Day Two led by Conference President Dr. Abdel Rahman Zahran, ran from nine in the morning to half past six. It opened with Research in Progress, giving the floor to the next generation. Dr Aly Magdy El Tabib presented topographic labelling and closure of the g***s p***s and corpus spongiosum in distal pe**le hypospadias repair; Dr Aya Mohamed Nasr on the role of lateral suspension in improving stress urinary incontinence associated with pelvic organ prolapse; and Dr Mohamed El Wahsh on air versus contrast pyelogram-guided puncture in paediatric mini-PCNL. Chaired by Prof. Dr Mohamed Youssif, Prof. Dr Hazem Rashad, Prof. Dr Mostafa Elmissery and Prof. Dr Hussein Abdeldayem.
Session II — Andrology and Endourology followed through to midday, and brought the international faculty to the podium. From the United States, Dr Faysal Yafi opened with the TRAVERSE trial updates on testosterone replacement therapy.
From Qatar, Dr Kareim Khalafalla decoded the diabetic phallus and its impact on male sexual health, then Dr Mohamed Arafa on hormonal stimulation before ICSI, and Dr Ahmad Majzoub went beyond pain scores to phenotype sexual dysfunction in men with chronic pelvic pain. Prof. Dr Akram Assem covered the complications of laparoscopic and robotic surgery, and Dr Khaled Refai of Cleveland Clinic Florida closed the session by defining the modern standard in minimally invasive donor nephrectomy.

After Friday prayer, Session III — Oncology brought a Canadian faculty from McGill University in Montreal to Alamein. Dr Côme Tholomier opened with robotic radical cystectomy as the future of bladder cancer surgery, through a Canadian perspective. Dr Wassim Kassouf followed on saving the bladder without compromising the cure — the evolving role of trimodality therapy in muscle-invasive disease. Dr Alexis Rompré-Brodeur then took the room through the perioperative immunotherapy revolution, from evidence to everyday practice. An interactive session on clinical bladder cancer cases with Dr Faisal Edris and Dr Ziyad Fahmy opened the floor to discussion, before Dr Mona Alameldin showed how pathologists help choose the right treatment in genitourinary cancers, and Dr Nader Fahmy closed on measuring what matters in resident assessment. Moderated by Prof. Dr Mohamed Adel Atta, Prof. Dr Ahmed El Abbady, Prof. Dr Wael M Sameh, Prof. Dr Hazem Rashad, Prof. Dr Nader Fahmy, Prof. Dr Hossam Hegazy and Dr Mohamed Abdel Sattar.
The day ended with Session IV — Pediatric Urology. Prof. Dr Hitham Badawi opened on pneumo-vesicoscopic reimplantation and the Alexandria experience, followed by Prof. Dr Ahmed Fahmy on surgical challenges in paediatric kidney transplantation, Prof. Dr Walid Dawood on iatrogenic pe**le injuries in children, and finally Dr Amr Kamal with Dr Mohamed Adel Abdelsattar on new trends in Wilms' tumour surgery. Moderated by Prof. Dr Ahmed A Wahab, Prof. Dr Samir Orabi, Prof. Dr Mohamed Youssef, Prof. Dr Hitham Badawi, Prof. Dr Ahmed Fahmy, Prof. Dr Waleed Dawood and Dr Amr Kamal.
Speakers, delegates and participants received certificates of recognition printed on authentic papyrus — the oldest writing surface in the world, made in Egypt, for a conference held on the coast where so much of that history was written.
