Kicking off the year with an amazing experience through hiking into the saint catherine area. Specifically to Abbas Mountain, since saint catherine mountain was closed due to the snow. One of the best hikes i've ever done in my life by far. Egypt can't cease to take my breath away. Witnessing snow and being surrounded by it was a long life dream for me and the first thing on my 2022 list. For more items checked out from this list. A fun fact, Abbas mountain was named after a khedewy abbas one of the modern kings of egypt, who had asthma and wanted to build a castle on the mountain, after his doctor recommend this spot up on top for better treatment. After building the base structure Abbas died of his asthma and the mountain was named after him leaving the structure behind..

" Blue Lagoon " a natural created massive pool, couldn't be in a more perfect hidden location. It is not an easy ride to get there by sea and off roading. But believe me worth every step of the way. You get to unwind without modern life distractions, feel blessed, grateful and ground your soul and restart. Recently became a hot spot for kitesurfing if not one of the best spots. Being there makes me proud and lucky to belong to such a place in beloved Egypt ❤💎🇪🇬
